Granite Countertops
Granite is a beautiful, natural and durable stone that is widely used for kitchen and bathroom countertops, vanity tops, bar tops, fireplace surrounds, outdoor kitchens, flooring, walls, conference rooms, reception desks, and just about anything you can imagine for both residential and commercial projects. Granite is a natural stone composed of different minerals that is formed in the earth’s crust under extreme heat and pressure. The different amount of minerals is what creates the different colors and patterns found in granite. Since granite is a natural stone, it should be sealed with a trusted sealant to protect it from stains, scratches and color fading, ensuring lasting beauty for many years to come.
Quartz Countertops
Quartz is one of the hardest minerals available, making it a popular choice for countertops. Quartz countertops are sometimes referred to as engineered, but quartz is in fact a natural stone. The amount of quartz in a slab is typically around 94% and then it’s combined with polyester resins to bind it and pigments to give it color. Sparkles and veining can also be added to give it the look of granite or marble. The resins also help make the countertops stain and scratch resistant, and nonporous, so they never need to be sealed. If you are looking for a very specific color, Quartz is ideal because they have unlimited color choices. Quartz countertops have the look of natural stone, minus the maintenance.

Marble Countertops may not be as durable as granite or quartz countertops, but are equally beautiful. It is a fantastic option if you want a beautiful white stone countertop. Marble countertops are perfect for most residential kitchen designs that want a classic, high-end look and feel. SInce marble countertops are generally less expensive, it is often used rather than quartz countertops.
